Bignor Park Weddings: A Stunning and Versatile West Sussex Venue
Nestled in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, Bignor Park is the perfect wedding venue for couples looking for an elegant yet relaxed setting. With its expansive gardens, charming architecture, and breathtaking views, this private estate offers endless possibilities to create a wedding that truly reflects your vision.
Having photographed numerous weddings at Bignor Park, we’ve seen firsthand how versatile this venue can be. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, this estate can be tailored to suit your style. In this guide, we’ll explore the many ways you can make the most of Bignor Park and share our top photography tips to ensure your wedding photos are nothing short of magical.

A Flexible Outdoor & Indoor Venue
Bignor Park offers a seamless blend of outdoor beauty and elegant indoor spaces, giving you the freedom to design your wedding exactly how you envision.
The Greek Loggia. A stunning classical structure that serves as a breathtaking ceremony backdrop. Offering you guests a canapé or drink in the garnets before your ceremony starts is the perfect way to capture those natural guest shots.
The South Lawn. Perfect for an outdoor drinks reception with panoramic countryside views. With plenty of space to spread out we can capture candid shots of your guests having fun. We love that there is plenty of options for group shots as well. Whether it’s in the formal gardens, the backdrop of the house or the stunning South Down views. We love a venue with great options!
The Stables. A charming indoor space ideal for intimate receptions or as a cozy retreat for a winter wedding. We’ve shot a variety of table layouts, but long tables are our absolute favourite, they create a great backdrop for guest reactions during speeches.
The Gardens. Manicured lawns, wildflower meadows, and enchanting woodland provide countless options for romantic couple portraits. Being up high, you also get the BEST sunsets at Bignor Park. We’ll always keep an eye open for that golden hour and if it looks like it’s happening we’ll take you into the fielder a 5 minute shoot.
The Grand House façade. Having a beautiful pink house to shoot in front of is such a unique aspect to Bignor that so many other venues don’t have. We love to park your wedding cars in front of the house and we can capture some fun couple portraits with the house in the background.
Croquet Lawn. If you’re planning a larger ceremony having a marquee on the croquet lawn is the perfect option. A completely blank canvas you can create any reception look you want to. We love what Clemmie & David did for their reception.

Bignor Park is a great venue for all seasons. In the Spring/Summer we love to take advantage of the lush greenery and blooming gardens. A later ceremony allows for softer afternoon lighting which is great for the Greek Loggia.
For Autumn/Winter The warm tones of autumn leaves or the crisp air of winter create a cozy, romantic atmosphere. Consider using candlelight, lanterns, or fairy lights for extra ambiance in your evening shots.
